Khala Rivera

Khala Rivera, a native of Long Island, NY, spent her formative years in Virginia Beach and the Richmond area. After graduating from high school in Chesterfield, she pursued her education at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning her degree in 2019.

Following graduation, Rivera embarked on a fulfilling career as an elementary school teacher in Maryland, where her experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic ignited a passion for exploring creativity and leveraging online tools.

In 2021, Rivera's journey took an unexpected turn when her mother launched her own business and sought assistance in enhancing its digital presence. Through this collaboration, Khala unearthed her enthusiasm for partnering with small businesses, aiding them in harnessing the power of social media and other digital platforms to drive growth and success.
