Lawrence V. Roberts

Lawrence V. Roberts is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army and retired after twenty-two years of honorable service. While serving in the Army he completed his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Marketing from Strayer University. Presently, he is a Financial Professional with New York Life Insurance as a Financial Professional, he can work with an array of clients to assist them to secure their financial future. Lawrence assists’ his clients with securing their income while growing it, retirement and educational solutions to  meet their financial security needs through the use of different investment products. 

Lawrence is passionate about helping people become; better financially today than they were previously. He applies his passion and principle of “If I knew then what I know now” to guide, mentor and direct people so they can make wise financial decisions based on factual numbers with their money for the long term.

He has achieved Executive Council for outstanding sales and was recognized as an Annuity Elite member for 2021, 2020, and 2019. He is an active member of the Metropolitan Business League (The MBL) of Richmond, VA where serves on two committees the fund-raising committee and Veteran Cohort. In 20222 Lawrence was recognized as The MBL Member of the Year for 2021. He is a former member of Toastmasters international St Paul’s Baptist Church Club, Colonial Heights Rotary, Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC), Community Scholarship Committee. While in the Army he had the opportunity to work in different leadership positions and in the community. His volunteer work included National Black MBA Association youth group Leaders of Tomorrow, Judge for the NAACP Academic Cultural Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) Program and Big Brothers and Big Sisters Association.
