VP Operations, PMI CVC, Cloud Data Architect, AI/ML Practitioner, Project Lead
Jacob Biguvu is a Founder, Principal Cloud Architect, Modeler, Engineer and Deacon with more than 25 years of experience across India and the United States. His career began in India delivering statewide government technology programs and continued in the U.S. through roles in database administration, data engineering, and cloud architecture for major enterprises. Jacob holds a MSIS (Master’s in Information & Systems Management) along with PMP and PMI‑CPMAI certifications. He is blessed with a loving family - his wife of over 34 years and their three children—and credits God’s guidance for every step of his personal and professional journey.
Professionally, Jacob has architected and modernized large‑scale data platforms across AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, and PostgreSQL, delivering more than 30 major database migrations and building governed, scalable analytics ecosystems for organizations such as McKesson, Fannie Mae, Verizon, Capital One, Walmart, and CarMax. His career has been shaped by three major technology shifts: India’s early digitization, which first drew him to the digital world and opened the door to the United States; the era of cloud modernization, which elevated him into cloud data architecture and enterprise data‑platform transformation; and the rise of GenAI/ML, which ultimately inspired him to step into entrepreneurship and establish BigITCS (Biguvu IT & Consulting Services). He specializes in AI‑enabled data solutions, including RAG architectures, intelligent document processing, and MLOps foundations. Beyond his technical work, Jacob serves as a Deacon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond, VA, and as VP of Operations for the PMI Central Virginia Chapter - roles through which he mentors, supports, and uplifts his community with a heart grounded in service, stewardship, and leadership.
As the founder of Biguvu IT & Consulting Services (BigITCS) LLC, Jacob’s vision is shaped by three core objectives. First, he is committed to helping small and medium organizations modernize their legacy systems to the cloud and build modern, governed, AI‑ready data platforms. Second, he is focused on product development—building a next‑generation document‑intelligence platform powered by RAG‑based AI to create practical, accessible tools that automate information processing, improve decision‑making, and bring enterprise‑grade AI capabilities to everyday businesses. Finally, Jacob’s mission is deeply rooted in faith and purpose. Guided by his calling as a Deacon, he seeks to serve both professionally and spiritually - using technology, leadership, and compassion to create meaningful impact, support communities, and contribute to a world transformed by innovation, integrity, and God‑centered service.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
